An incomplete list of some of the more notable games I’ve worked on over the years:
Idol Manager (2021) – Lead writer, co-designer
Available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5.
If you visited Akihabara Station in 2022, you might recognize this game from this creative 3D subway ad, or the viral tweet drawing attention to it.
Idol Manager is a dark comedy business simulation game about the light side and not-so-light side of Japanese idol culture as you attempt to steer between the alternate paths of bankruptcy (moral) and bankruptcy (financial). If you enjoy Football Manager and Crusader Kings with an anime aesthetic, you might enjoy this one.
Necrobarista (2020) – Writer
Available on Steam and Nintendo Switch.
Necrobarista is a cinematic visual novel set in a Melbourne cafe where the dead get one last night to mingle with the living. (It’s generally considered poor form to ask fellow patrons if they’re dead or living.)
Necrobarista won some awards (like the Freeplay Independent Games Festival Award for Excellence in Visual Art and the AGDA for Best Art), and it was nominated for several others (like the AGDA for Best Narrative, the IND13 Award for Best Writing, and the Golden Joystick Award for Best Indie Game).
